Project Concept: "Cybersex Appeal" was born from my fascination with sci-fi aesthetics, particularly inspired by the visuals of "Blade Runner 2049" and the cyberpunk genre. With this editorial set, my aim was to blend these futuristic elements with high fashion, creating a world where fashion meets fantasy. I had the pleasure of working with the talented stylist Elva Mae and cast two stunning models, one Black and one Hispanic, to bring this vision to life.

Wardrobe and Set Design: The clothing choices were pivotal in setting the tone. One model donned a strappy black dress with daring slits, paired with thigh-high leather boots – a silhouette that screams futuristic chic. Our second model wore a nude-colored mesh bodysuit with white graphic stripes, channeling an android-like allure. A key piece was the lime greenish-yellow leotard paired with rhinestone-studded fishnet arm gloves and pleather thigh-highs, creating a striking visual statement.

Photography Techniques and Editing: To enhance the atmosphere, I used a bloom lens filter, creating a soft, ethereal glow in each shot. The lighting played a crucial role, utilizing a trio of colored gel lights in red, green, and blue – an homage to RGB screen technology. This setup created a neon-infused cyberpunk vibe, perfect for the theme. In post-production, I added touches like metal bangles via Photoshop for a more android-esque feel, and transformed the floor into black sand shores, completing the surreal, otherworldly look.

Project Insight: This shoot was a journey into uncharted territory, where high fashion met high fantasy. The combination of futuristic lighting, avant-garde fashion, and creative editing resulted in images that are not just photographs, but windows into a sci-fi inspired universe. "Cybersex Appeal" stands as a testament to the power of creative collaboration and the endless possibilities of imaginative photography. Every element, from the models' poses to the last speck of digital sand, was carefully orchestrated to transport the viewer to a world where fashion and futurism intertwine seamlessly.
